Across melodic skies this night

~

 

Echoes breath of northern fields

where rhythms form as twilights dance

Alone my love does play for you

on mystic strings of found romance

 

Neath weathered winds on sunset views

of amethyst and crimson haze

Fluorescent flows in shimmered light

to harmonize these summer days

 

For hear my love, eurhythmic tones

symphonically our song takes flight

Concertos played of purest sound

across melodic skies this night

What was her name, with the Eurythmics? Chrissy Hynde or something like that. She'd like this. I like it. Excellent use of vocabulary. Kind of gave me a Tommy James and the Shondells vibe. Lyrical and just a bit of alliteration that I like.
