The skies are gray once moreA Poem by willweb~ * ~ A dreary morning lingers just outside my old back door The ground is white, the trees are bare, the skies are gray once more A frigid wind approaches as it slaps out at my face A shiver forms upon my skin, while standing in this place The cats are in the corner hiding out from all the snow My dog he barks, "Oh let me in, I'm freezing, you must know" When old man winter, finally spoke, "I'm back again," he said I walked inside and locked the door and climbed back into bed ~ * ~
