Even when younger, when someone told her something she didn’t always understand, she asked why? Sometimes she got a reply to her question. Sometimes not. As she got older his parents bought her a complete Encyclopedia. Which she read often during the Summer. The problem was, events kept changing and newer information was not found in the Encyclopedia. Finally, thought they believed she was too young they gave her a Laptop to use, but first learned to restrict the sites he could go to, like to popular on-line sites anyone could join. The whole purpose was for Carla to do research.

Still, Carla wondered how new or valid the research was. His Mother told her to le her help her decide this with her and Carla agreed.

And when Carla got older and earned her degree she went to work for a well-know company that fact-checked everything, from claims by elected Politicians to claims about new discoveries to claims trying to debunk actual facts.

As an adult Carla earned the right to ask why.
