True mixture of old and present life. (Didn't even realize it till my hubby ??'d it.)

It's All Over

I'm done, I'm through

I'm sick and tired of

hurting from you

 

You did me wrong,

not just once but twice

You had no respect only lies

 

We had it all

We had the world in

the palms of our hands

We even wore matching

wedding bands

 

It's over now

It's dead and gone

It's to bad

It's so damn sad

It's over yet I'm so very glad

 

When you get this note,

I'll be long gone

When you realize what you've done,

When you figure out you were the one

don't bother to call cause like I said

I'll be long gone

Note: this poem was kind of strange for me as it was a mixture of bad past and good present! It ended up working out somehow but I have no idea how! LOL

I like it! for a poem expressing a womans firm determination of moving on after a relationship that went south, it caught the feeling really well!

I suspect this to be very relatable by many a girl. As many of men have gotten the case of the stupids and messed it all up.

This was very well writen and flowed nicely through the mind.
