Another morn

dawned clear and bright

with not a cloud in sight

 

Another day

with no more rain

just a major heat wave

 

Another eve

my senses filled with

 smells of freshly mown grass

 

Another night

the stars shine so clear

and so bright

 

I'm looking forward

to tomorrow

there is something about the smell of freshly mowed grass that I just adore! I love summer - but I have to admit - when the rains come, they bring about a calming that I can't deny as well. an enjoyable read !
