Tomorrow will bring all new things
love, hope, joy and lots of new
wonderful dreams
We hope...
I love that stanza Windy! Love it!
How uplifting and positive --
Life truly is what we make it --
Dreams are only as far as our imagination --
Which makes them even closer
to us then what's going on around us --
If only our dreams could be reality instantly, peace would occur. However when people have a lust for power the balance of justice starts to tip the opposite direction. Nice read gave me an idea for a new poem lol
I take this as a "dreamscape"...delightfully done. I think that we all wish to "escape" from life every now and again...or perhaps every night! LOL I like the way that you have taken liberty with the formatting of this piece, writing the dreamy parts in script and the rest in plain old text...it lends a new depth to the writing. Overall...nicely written.
Ah, how we wish for a better tomorrow. Maybe that tomorrow WILL come tomorrow..or the next day..or the next..or a year from now..or 10 years from now. We just don't know. But until then, we can try to make a difference in the world and try to improve it, right?
Just this morning I was watching the news and my mouth was hanging open at how messed up it is. There's so many murders and so much poverty and crimes and--sadly this list could go on and on. BUT, a better tomorrow will come. We just have to make sure it gets here soon! =)
This is so great and really inspirational. Awesome work!

Wouldn't it be fantastic is we could all dream "real life" away; guess that why we keep dreaming our dreams in hopes that they'll one day come true? Good thing is some days we awaken and the day is not a repeat of the day before; something unique takes place, telling us that life is good and we would have missed it if we'd stayed in bed. Sometimes when things don't go our way we must draw upon past good times to get us through; recalling those good times spent in incredible places gives us the strength to continue on hoping that another good time in a beautiful local will become a good memory the tuck away for future use.
Yeah, I'm just rambling on... good write!! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!! Sallie Bear
Great rhyme scheme and flow. Like this poem within a poem approach! Gives me something new to try, too!
I think alot pf people these days must fantasize such places. The real world is a difficult one to be in, much of the time! Barbara
I must say....for someone who is just tacking a crack at writting (your bio) you sure do act (write) like you know what your doing !! I have read some of your earlier works and in comparing them to your more recent pieces i have seen great growth. I was very proud of your progress and could not stop smiling while reading this poem . You have done such a wonderful job on this that I can't help but wonder why you waited so long to jump in with both feet when you first came to this sight.
This is great Windy, i love the fine line you weave between reality and dreams, i must say i like the dream scenario much better than the reality but alas this cannot be so!!!!
"Just oceans of green, and skies of blue
sunshiny days and time with you."
I love these lines they say so much to me. I liked the different fonts for different thoughts. It sends the message home. The differences in our dreams and reality. Beautiful poem. Good work.
I love the two fonts here Windy; the more serious writing in the smaller font and the light hearted in the fancy font. Jumping between the two veins of thought adds interest. I love your new attempt at something different. Very well done! Carole
I'm married to an amazing man that also happens to be a writer! My heart belongs with him, our children and our grandchildren, they are all amazing.
This is an "outlet" for me. I am not a w.. more..
