My Kids

A poem for my kids, :) (Nope this isn't a picture of them, But, I will be adding one as soon as I am able)

MY KIDS

 

 

I'd have a dozen if I could

but that takes a lot of money,

I'll settle for the ones I have

these ones are really funny.

 

 

Through the years

they've brought me joy and tears,

Grandchildren I adore

and more will be comming.

 

 

I'm thankful for each and every one

The lessons they've learned,

and taught me in return

plus all we have still to look for

 

The love that we all share

is beyond any compare

Call them gifts of love or from above

it does'nt really matter

 

 

As I look back now on the past

I wonder if I did my very best,

I know I tried to, I worked hard at it

I hope that they all know that.

 

 

I love them all for who they are

and what they've grown to be,

I have faith in them to continue on

with their own families.

 

 

No matter where I am

I hope they always know,

I will be "here" for them

be it in body,mind or soul.

Windy..... that is so touching! You make the reader feel the true emotions and love that you are carrying in your heart for your children. I believe any child would love to have a mother that can express their feelings for them in the beautiful and timeless what that you have with this poem.
To be able to be there through their ups and downs and for them to be there for you in return is a treasure that has now price attatched.

You have express your love and caring for them and family in a wonderful and compassionate way, that I hope all of them will be able to see just how important they are to you and your are to them.
