Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by Jaywing

The sky turns from grey to blue
at the sign of the sun's clue.
The rays of gold fall over the land,
the grass begins to wave as in a trance.
The Bluejay starts to sing.
The Eagle spreads it's wings.
The fox looks to the trees,
in one there is a nest of bees.
The bees start to stir
at the sound of the bluebird.
One by one, they leave the nest,
Soon they would land on a flower for a morning rest.
As the land starts to show,
the water starts to flow.
The waves reflect the glory,
as they move away to the morning.
The cheerful sound is a joyful chant
to the sun's morning glance.
