Inspire me

What is inspiration?

I often stop to wonder:
What makes people feel inspired?
Is it feelings or emotions
Or perhaps some deep desire?

What stirs up the fire 
Deep inside a person's soul?
What causes them to take a chance
For some important goal?

What touches someone deep inside
And inspires them to think?
What urges one to carry on
When they're teetering on the brink?

Perhaps for some
It's simply getting the chance
To love and to forgive.
It's the good I see in others' hearts
That inspires me to live.

Your form and flow move deeply like a river calling for answers across its meadow banks.. Yes, some walk through life lost in the routine, whilst others find inspirations with every sunrise... every smile... every breath... May you be ever filled with that fire.

Not easy to rhyme and not be trite. This rhyming poem is interesting in its question-asking. The questioning makes it non-trite, but intriguing. These are the most motivating lines, "...What urges one to carry on

when you come across such a poem with such a deep meaning, it puts you in doubt and a countless number of questions crowd your head. Its a really nice poem with a question to which everyone has a different answer. That's the beauty of it!
