The Garden & The Snake

The Garden & The Snake

A Poem by Wolf Wrenn

The garden is mine
The snake weaving through is mine
Though I've never asked the garden
Hell,
I never asked to be the snake
No one asked if I ever wanted to weave around
Obstacles and constant fear
Any corner could be the end
The garden is lush
The gardens a lie
The weave is essential
The weave is a lie
You are a snake
You are a lie
