A Ghost

A Ghost

A Poem by Wolf Wrenn

This used to be solace
Now it's a routine
Water slowly pooling around my feet
White tiles look yellow now
Noones ever going to change those fluorescent bulbs
All the walls faded and stained
Am I to become these walls
Am I to be stuck in this place for eternity
Like all the ghosts that came before
Ties to this place
Is that all I am now
A ghost
