Lighthouse love from a Distant Girl

A poem for a lover somewhere else, or for the one who cannot love you.

I feel the storm

Of her eyes

Of her hips

Of her yearning and her bosom-down feelings to run

and to be as alone as a lighthouse.

And here I lie

With all of her thoughts

And I revel in them

Like treasures untold.
