LE NARCISSISTA Poem by M. L. F.
He stares at the world past the tip of his nose
Through gold tinted glasses Yes - he only sees - the things his eyes show him trough internal prose Lies drip like molasses- Leave trails on his sleeves All done to protect you - his logic so safe Yet when his lies come out - as lies want to do He'll bear no such guilt - He's the man with no mirror He'll bear no such guilt - but get angry with you - -for these harsh accusations that you've dared to say "How could you believe them?" "Believe over me?" He'll shout at the top of his two screeching lungs - like a hawk in distress who is too blind to see But I saw straight through him - his sad little game Le Narcissist's acting should win an award Too bad he will go through life too broke to see - All the truths that his logical lies can't afford. © 2017 M.
