I Silently Weep

Written for all those people that haven't found what they look for in a friend

 

I silently weep for my true friend to appear

To know me,

Understand me,

To love me without fear

I silently weep for my best friend to come

To hold me,

Console me,

And help me with that I've become

I silently weep every night for it to come true

Just a wish,

For some one,

I could say 'I love you too'

Nothing very intense. Just the results of 'one of those days'. Makes me want to sigh.

Are you kidding? Nothing intense? You've expressed so much in just three stanzas that have great rhyme schemes, by the way. It's straightforward and flows beautifully. Personally, I can relate to this poem. My friends just aren't that reliable. *sighs* You wish to find that someone who can offer you a shoulder to cry on and then not judge you for what you've just done later on.
