A Thought on You Give Me Graphophobia

You give me graphophobia.

It drives me up a wall.

To scratch my thoughts onto paper,

It shouldn't seem scary at all.

But what if I speak the truth

And you understand.

Does that mean my heart will leap for joy

And fall into your hands.

That's the most terrifying part.

What if I fall too fast and you realize.

You realize I'm just your average girl,

Waiting to be wanted by a guy like you.

But you know there are others just like you.

What if I fall and you decide,

My graphophobia scares you much more than it does me.
