that's all we really are

Like a little china doll,
If you drop her she will break.
Like a small child would,
She always makes mistakes.
Like a true friend should,
She always tries her best.
But she is an actress
Fitting to a written role.

Pre-played, overused.

Fitting to a part written for a different girl
Another soul
A different life.

Living in this lie.
Willing to be set free into a new universe
A place where nothing is as it seems.

But she is an actress
And she already has her role.
