Julie's Jubilee

A little poem for my friend Julie on her birthday

Birthdays come but once a year

Full of laughter, full of cheer

Don’t worry that you’re getting old

You’re just getting better, so I’m told

But the best thing about a birthday celebration

Is sharing with family and friends, this jubilation

And though one more year went by too fast

The memories we have made are here to last

 

I’ll take this time to let you know

Your birthday will not pass this day

Without your friend taking time to show

How much you mean in every way.
