Whisper My Name

A little love poem full of passion and desire

                                    

                                     

     I sense you deep within my soul

              And long for the feeling it speaks of

 

                                    The obsession, the scent of love

           The softness of skin on skin

 

                                    Intertwining the strength of a man

           And the tenderness of a woman

 

                                    The intermingling of emotions

                                                And desire

  

                                    Lay with me

                                                Kiss me

                                                            Touch me

                                                                        Take me

                                   

      I lose my mind, I can't breathe

           As the fire of passion drives us

                       To unbridled realms of ecstasy

 

          And it’s then I see

                        The smile in your eyes……

 

          They speak to me, telling me

 

                                                            “Yes”

 

                  You whisper my name

 

                                                            And it is right.

You have captured a beautiful intimate moment between man and woman, with words that paint a beautiful scene. I like the structure that give the rise and fall of lovemaking, breath and all that goes with it. I like that this is not fully aggressive but a more quietly intimate moment before sex.

I believe the time spent together making love before intercourse
can be just as pleasurable as the sex itself... however.....
I still love finishing the right way with a mutually satisfying culmination of ecstasy.

The line breaks and form of this poem are perfectly fittin; they build a gentle flow. I would personally miss it being necessarily noted as a bond between man and women, however that is just me! And this is beautiful, anyway. ☺️
