Blue Moon

A poem in honor of the Blue Moon

Azure dreams of full moon rising

Wonders of the universe

Images of indigo

High tide phenomenon

Whispers upon the sapphire shores

Cerulean shadows of lovers in the sand

Lunar kisses on soft glowing lips

 

An understanding of emotion

Crashing together in our hearts

Like the waves upon the ocean

Blue Moon desire thus imparts

The "Blue Moon" is described as when we have 2 full moons in one month

btw...I was in New York city last summer. I always dreamed of seeing a full moon above the skyline. I was disappointed when I found out there had already been a full moon. Then, one night I was near Time's Square and I looked up to see a big beautiful BLUE MOON! What are the odds that my dream would come true?! It was magical..,

Supposedly we could have what looks like Two Moons in the sky tonight.
Go see the blue moon phenomenon of two full moons in one month tonight
And look for the second moon (actually another planet)

we will have two moons in the sky, but one will be
another planet. There is no one alive who has
seen this happen, because it occurs over a hundred
years apart. Trace, your poem is so romantic.
