Delirious Ramblings

 

 

I don’t want to write any poetry today,

I’m running out of words that rhyme,

 

I can’t think of anything romantic or deep,

Besides, I don’t have the time,

 

My muse is obviously missing,

I heard something about fishing, I think,

 

Yeh,  I’m struggling to make this make sense, (huh?)

Heck, I hope he falls in the drink,

 

So, forgive these delirious ramblings,

And cut me a little slack,

 

Cause this is as good as you get from me,

Till that hook bait’in muse comes back.

i am right now not in the mood to write so it's perfect timing i came across this. impressed you were still able to rhyme consistently! i can't be bothered doing that in some of my best work.

Gosh! I thought I was reading Keith!
"that hook bait’in muse" had me laughing like some of his wild works.

Anyway, it's good to see my friends in lighthearted moods.

On a day l couldn't think of anything to write, l started writing about it, and this is what l came up with.

Sometimes "spontaneous" produces the best work. I thought this was outstanding! I love the imaginations of the muse sitting there calmly fishing while the writer is fuming, eyes searching every part of his mind to find something to write. Sheesh, I'm laughing right now! Cool, T!

When in the course of our life, we find our ability to come up with something pithy we revert to blaming the lack of inspiration on
some unforseen entity. I often wonder where the word "BEMUSED," Came from.
