Immeasurable

a love poem

 

Like stars in the midnight sky,

Or gentle raindrops in spring,

The love I have always felt for you,

Is an “Immeasurable” thing,

 

Like waves on the oceans shores,

Or the brightness of the sun,

A love like ours is more than this,

Yes, it is an “Immeasurable” one,

 

Like snowflakes of a winters day,

Or the promises of a rainbow,

The deep and wonderful feelings we share,

Are quite simply “Immeasurable”,

 

Love is a word that has great meaning,

An emotion formed in the heart,

But to say: “I Love You” just isn’t enough,

This love was “Immeasurable” from the start.
