In The SunlightA Poem by TraceA collaboration with the Amazing MsJewel
The fields were ripe, the strawberries sweet
on vines intertwined, glistening from the dew through summers warm golden flecks silken new grass sprung forth from meadows green We stood a moment in the sunlight a moment uncounted by time to sigh… to swoon… With nary the touch of your hand in mine the leaves rustled long branches bending to the wind your tender lips beckoned The scene summoned emotions unfamiliar… Is it not sweeter than a foolish kiss or to bear your bodies weight upon my breast? With a fragrant perfume adrift on the breeze the sensation of you…next to me… breathtaking Yes, for a moment summer held us … in the sunlight © 2026 TraceAuthor's Note
