Halloween

It's halloween..I decided to write a poem

Monsters and Ghouls roam the streets

With little baskets full of sweets

 

Every year for this one night

We celebrate this spooky sight

 

Faces watch us, fire in their eyes

At each house, beholding a surprise

 

Knocking on the door and shuffling feet

A harmonized chorus of "Trick or Treat"

 

Candy is given to each one

Then they go to the next house until they are done

 

When it hits Midnight

The monsters retreat from sight

 

Next year, will be another scene

And for all A HAPPY HALLOWEEN
