one word: happiness

So there's this feeling I've been having
And its oh so new.
I can't quite explain it
But I'll try to,
Just for you.

Its like the dark has become a little brighter
And the lights have too.
Colours and warmth are flooding into my world
And life seems like it's too good to be true.

I look around and see all those faces
Those faces all so blue
And know I was once standing there
Standing in these shoes.

But now things are getting better
And I feel I'm wanting to drift 
So I guess only one word can sum all this up
And that word happens to be happiness.
