Consumed with Her

Consumed with Her

A Poem by Xander West

Is the thought on falling in love with her,

More appealing than us in reality,

For I am always thinking of her smile,

Perfect in every way, all would agree.

Am I consumed with thought of her,

Because my heart longs for more,

Is my mind playing tricks on me,

I have never felt this way before.

I am always dreaming of her eyes,

As if I am staring off into a dark sea,

And only when the waves coming crashing,

Am I awakened to our reality.

Could these emotions really be true,

Do you ever think the same for me,

Am I currently under your tempting spell,

Or do I desire all of you freely,

I am constantly wondering of you,

Curious to know all your desires,

For only then can I ever fulfill,

All your hopes and all you admire

Romantically written and I enjoyed it. The mystery of someone often leaves us vigorous for the answers we seek when we admire them as described in this poem.
