A Missing Piece Of Me..

I wrote this a while back.. Having trouble naming it.. It's about me... The empty space in me that calls out to someone long gone.

A hollow space

Cold as an ice fortress

Stone strong

Bleak

As a sea of grey

Chilled fingers of the wind

Probing, freezing

Bringing forth a desolate cry

A mourning song..

Through every dark corner

Like ruins of old

Or tattered memories

And empty loneliness resides

In this barren expanse

Where rain falls like grey fire
