Why must we be subjected to such a curse Tangled in endless verbs and nouns Chains of thoughts through rhythm and sound And you A mortal, no muse Words, Why words When I demand more than your eyes With a soul that soars through the darkened skies Every heart beat I expel with pen Every feeling with a metaphor spent Again and again And You can do nothing but love me And as a fool I continue to write poetry © 2008 XxVampyrCandyXx |
