My soul within slowly dying

What’s the use of holding on

When all we ever had is gone

you deserve much better

Other then these love letters

I’m walking in the cold

Watching my hapless life unfold

The memory of you holds my hand

A feeling I can no longer stand

I want to feel your touch

How can I love you this much

You said you wanted to be friends

That’s something my mind transcends

I’m falling so hard and fast

My mentality surpassed

What did you do

To make me fall so in love with you

I don’t want to give loneliness a chance

I want to feel true romance

Its a battle I will never win

Because Pale September has battled November
And died in Cold December

i really love this poem. who doesn't want to feel true love? its the best feeling in the world & loneliness one of the worst. i love the imagery of this poem "The memory of you holds my hand A feeling I can no longer stand" & the last lines "Because Pale September has battled November And died in Cold December" are brilliant. good write.
