Life’s Quandaries

At a moments glance

I find a smile upon my face

An aching deep within me

A fluttering heart

A Yearning for fire

It is you I desire

It is you who entices me

It is you who causes my mind to wonder

It is you who caresses my body

It is you who rises to thunder

I get you

I understand you

I know you

I feel You

We are one of the same

Your written verse fall upon me like closed rose petals

Beckoning my words to blush and rise

Letting you fall open between my skies

You are deep within me

Like the metaphors stroking the rhymes of aching embers

Read me your unbridled delights

Enter the hidden depths of my being

You are my muse

For there is no other I rather choose
