Blink of an Eye

Broke-hearted Poem

It's funny how things are changing

In the blink of an eye everyone is waving

Hopes, dreams and aspirations shattered

Every negative aspect seem to have gathered

Depression sinks in like titanic

Every direction is an iceberg that mimics

Jack and Rose is a novel that never happened

Just like the two of us, a knot that was never tightened

Both of us chose to look at the other direction

Destiny has led us to a misdirection

But I cannot blame destiny for parting us

For I've always known it only wants the best for us
