What am I supposed to do?
I hadn't planned this far...
it was a one time thing
so how did it get so far
Why am I here?
after all that has happened
After all that we've been through
Apologize is what I should do
but I don't feel guilty
After what I did
I can't expect others to understand
but why does it hurt
when I remember her face
Why does it hurt
When I'm the one who betrayed
After all that has happened
I can't expect her to forgive
After all the love I received
Why did I go...
After all the love she showered
Why did I go and fall in love with another?

I understand the confusion in the poem, but I think you could have worded it a bit differently because it felt a bit repetitive.

On a side note, I can relate to how you are feeling. It is what it is, you can't tell the heart how to feel.

I really like the idea of the whole poem. Really enjoyed reading this. Maybe you could put emphasis on how you feel about the other. Anyway I genuinely like this becuase I can really relate to it.

Two words... s**t happens. That's putting alot of complications into a very wide range of simplicity. What I'm saying is that we can't control who we fall in love with. It happens. Girl meets boy, girl loves boy, boy loves another girl. Well, that's the situation I mostly see, might be different on your end. But our heart has its own mind, we can't date someone who is literally perfect and force our heart to love them and be 'happy'. NO! It doesn't work like that. But it's unfortunate how many hearts break due to this.
