Clatter

A Story by Yamka
"

I've always wanted to have a typewriter connected to my brain

"

The typewriter in his brain clatters away without pause, recording each and every thought he possesses. Pinpricks of memories flash then dissipate. The pale papers pile up, covered in deliberate letters.

The noise is too much!

STOP! His mind is a broken record turning in circles. He needs to stop, too much has been said, too many people have read

His thoughts.

ENOUGH! enoughenoughenoughenoughenoughenoughenoughSTOP!

Finally, finally it is gone but so is he.

I relate well to this, I am an over-thinker, always attempting to record people's words and ideas in my mind but regardless I seem to forget.
