daemons & angels

there's a buzzing sound in my ears

it drownes out your voice

makes me feel dizzy

I can't find anything to hold on to

demons & angels fight beneath my skin

fight for the right to speak through my mouth

 

there's a bright light in my eyes

it blinds me

and I can no longer see your face

makes me seem lost

demons & angels scream at each other

my head is filled with their constant fighting

 

there's a burning sensation on my skin

the feeling paralyzes me 

and I no longer know you

makes me all alone

demons & angels scorch my body with holy and unholy fire

they'd rather incinerate me than let the other side be victorious

It's actually about skin cancer, I've had surgery several times (only "real" cancer once though) to remove birthmarks that looked suspicious.
But schizophrenia might be it too... lol
