A HOLLOW KNIGHT'S FAREWELL

A HOLLOW KNIGHT'S FAREWELL

A Poem by Yhorm
"

this poem shows the last thoughts a knight had while watching his bride getting married to someone else,as he finally hollows

"

I've severed many arms, but couldn't have mine in yours.

Protected many homes, but couldn't build one with you.

Did everything I could, yet still couldn't have you;

Someone did nothing, yet has his arms wrapped around you.

My victories, my wounds, as my soul leaves this body,

Surrounded by silent tunes.

My sorrows, my happiness"everything vanished

As I slowly lost the sight of you

And in the silence, I fall to the floor,

A knight once proud, now nothing more.

The love I fought for, now just a ghost,

I was always second, never the most.

Now, all that's left of me is just a husk of flesh,

As I die tonight, a hollow knight"

The dusk claims my last breath, and though I fade,

I find peace in knowing love survives death.
