Dark Side

the other side of me

My smile fades

Darkness parades

I know i am dark

I have felt no spark

I am alone

From pain i moan

I feel evil

A tad medieval

My soul is tainted

Black it is painted

My eyes turn red

Like the blood I've shed

Do you hate me

My fate awaits me

I live in the night

To fill hearts with fright

Take me away

I dont wish to see day

I am a daughter of the night

The light I will fight

This is a great poem! I really like the flow, the rhyme scheme and the topic. The night is a great time of day, and darkness needs not be scary, so I, for one, welcome both. But I also enjoy a lit candle and gazing at the stars, offering a little light. I think that contrasts are great, too.
Anyway, I like the sinister atmosphere you create just as much.
Keep up the brilliant work!
