Those Three Words

I wrote this cause I had a dream about me and my boyfriend breaking up...

Those words

That makes you cry.

That makes you

Want to die.

You shy away,

Hoping it would

Get better.

You tried to avoid it.

But they sneak up

From under you.

When you realize

What they mean.

You can’t help

But to think

Why did he say…

“We’re breaking up”?
