The Blade

A sword is more than meets the eye.

You are the blade that I was gifted with

You, the blade, I have won many battles with

You, the blade, who has never once rusted

You, the blade, that gave me hope and strength

You, the blade, that I have sworn will never shatter
Because my life lies within the blade
You are my life; my blade
I grip the hilt tightly, as if holding your hand
I am not afraid
