Fairytale

When I think of it
Of her
I feel a tension in my chest
and a smile creeps across my face

I feel a longing to be with
and excitement when I am
Could it be love?
How could it?

I know not her true name
only the one she uses
and vice versa
To her I am her Shade
To me she is my Star

She is the one
The one who is sweet
but also strong
the one who is kind
but also loyal

She is my friend
and more
But she is not real
And I am left to love a Fairytale.
