ReflectionA Poem by ZaharaA poem I wrote in one go and is unedited.Brown, small, round circles A little cat-like, on the edge there's wrinkles Sharp, directionless Wishing I was emotionless Sharp, directionless, dark, bushy and messy. Put on some red to look a little sassy. But not too much, you don't want to look nasty Just so much to make me look FIESTY No, no that's too much Take that off, no need for retouch. Brush strokes, quick and fast. Put more on. You want to make it last Fast, fast, fast You don't want to be the last. Clouds of colour float before my eyes I snap it shut. I open my eyes. I stare at the reflection that was once mine. Happy? Maybe at nine.
