Genius and Charlatan

Genius and Charlatan

A Poem by Zall
"

The boy doesn't see what she does, the girl doesn's see what she does to the boy.

"

Genius and Charlatan
Genius,
Do you not see,
Past the lies,
The smile,
The laugh.

Charlatan,
Do you not see,
All the hurt,
The pain,
The agony.

Genius,
Do you not see,
Past the deception,
The grin,
The giggle.

Charlatan,
Do you not see,
All the wounds,
The grief,
The misery.

Genius,
Charlatan,
Do you not see,
Past all the cloaks,
The masquerades,
The deception.

Author's Note

Zall
The 'Genius' is the boy because he doesn't see. The 'Charatan' is the girl and another word for cheater/lier. Sorry if it's bad.
