Purple is the color

Of our detemination

 

Gold is the color

My school stands to get

 

Purple and Gold is

The the everlasting pride that we have

 

We bleed purple

Yet our hearts are that of gold.

Oh, this is nice.

I like it. It's nice. But the colors could've been blue, green and white. Those are my high school's colors. Funny thing is, both my parents had blue in their school colors. Mom was born here in Houston and Dad is from Corpus Chirsty. But Mom had gold in here school colors. So, gold is good. But the purple...uh....no. Those are the colors of one of our rival schools. But like how you put the simple things of pride and determination to the voice of colors. Like I said, I like it. It's nice. And as always, it's simple. (P.S.-I'm "doped up" on Benadryl thanks to mosquitoes so if I don't make much sense, sorry.)

I find this one close to my heart cuz my high school colors were purple and gold too! Good expressions of feelings :-)

i feel that not all of the poeple at our school has a heart of gold. very fiew to be almost exact. you, on the other hand, have a great big heart of diamond and gold. beauty and kindness, with a little bit of hardness with it. great poem, again. ive become a fan of my own true love. :D
