Mindless Chatter

A poem about Love :)

Walking down the street
Just us, hand in hand.
I can feel your leg brushing against mine
This moment couldn't be any more perfect.

 

 

Then, you open your mouth,
And the romance is.
Its run ou the door,
attempting to flee your extraneous blabber.

 

 

I can't help but laugh,
As a sad, childish pout surfaces.
"You're so cute!", I hear myself cry out.
The air is filled with peals of laughter.

 

 

We fall into a fit of tickles and giggles,
Tripping and swaying into people as we stroll.
 I look back, to merely seconds before,
And silently think, "This is enough."

I wrote this as a response to my boyfriend's nagging. Apparently, I don't write happy poetry. So there!!! <3
