To discourage whomsoever it may concern from suicidal attempts.
When life
seems all hopeless
still don't you loose
all scope of hope
for there's
this thing
dangling
in the air,
Reach out
for God's sturdy rope.
For how
sure can
you be
that
death will
take you
to a better fate
What if
you are
plunged
into a
plight
much
worse where there's no turning
back at any rate!
In times of trials and tribulations invoke Him
Or your chances of contentment remain slim
You too haven't been infallible and above all blame,
that you wish for a perfect rosy life
The excuses for suicide are usually so lame,
Better enjoy your share even so in strife.
Donot
friend, plan to commit this act
just to invoke another's pity and regret.
The pity and regret will come and go
Besides it soothes no decomposed,
and a large slice of your life
May lie in waste, your soul disposed
Why rush for thy grave,
It may further gloom.
Suicide's ain't a way out
fellow human friend.
Pray a godless way ,not send
you unto this doom.
You haven't right to bring
any life to its end.
And it's probable that all
those years
that you now wish to recklessly
discard in dust
have something bright ahead,
got to be a ray of
hope
Extinguish it not if in God
you trust!
For some, life contains a misery limit. There is only so much pain a person can hold without spilling it I think. Suicide is permanent and most problems are temporary. I think, though, anyone who kills themselves is not thinking of the aftermath, what they are doing to the people that love them.

Thanx so much for your thoughts, indeed suicide is a bad painful solution.
Suicide is never a solution. A great poem indeed with a very important message. Great use of vocabularies in expressing what you want to tell and this is a great way of spreading social awareness. Great work. Keep it up

Thanx so much for comment, the reply button is working at last,
it is a very good poem it promotes suicide awareness because a lot of people think it is a good solution to end all pain but what they don't know is it is the start of a bigger problem.

I agree. Suicide shouldn't never be the answer. I lost two brothers to suicide. 28 years later. Their loss break the family hearts. A worthwhile poem shared.

You are welcome and I hope to read more of your work.
good work, i especially love the first two stanzas. the way you used very short lines in the first part (this might be a little weird) seemed to me like a rope you created, and "there's no turning back" is actually the turning point because the poem takes a turn from there and the rhythm changes, you put the message out there. enjoyed your language, too

on one hand, You did great about the subject, specially Your first verses they are strong, Your idea is clear through Your words, on other hand, I believe those whom are suicidal, need more understanding from us an open heart and mind to embrace them, not to point at them, that they doing a huge sin, or blame them, this won't help them at all, but will lead them more into the abyss.
You are caring to think of them, I hope You don't have anyone whom is actually suicidal, thank You for sharing.

Warm thanx for your thoughts, but do let me explain myself. I have all the understanding for suicidal people, I'm just psychologically trying to advise them like a mom would a child who is into self destructive things like drugs, in all lie and care.
As for my religion it considers it a sin to take ones life since we don't relate our own life and devote followers try real hard to steer clear of sins so it's a nice way to prevent such sad painful loss of life, as u see Muslims are real low on suicide since the sin factor manoeuvres them Ito other solutions rather than such hopeless drastic ends.
I've never met a suicidal person in real life but I have met quite a few on online sites ESP poets who get diverted from suicide after reading my poem. I'm not blaming them, I'm just diverting their attention.
Take care.

Sorry typos, I meant love and my iPad changed it to lie, and create to relate ah.
Nice work. Seems like this issue has hit close to home for you. I also like the quotes in the picture.

I believe that only theistic belief could help them, my mom actually cured sb's depression by inspiring in her prayerful hope.
Not how I thought it was going to go. This is a great piece, a very hopeful and encouraging.
