A Chapter by Zephyr

The story is set in a fictional world with influences from past civilizations, including the Ancient Greeks and Persians.  Two countries, Raji and Huldre, live side by side.  Not only do they share a border, but they also share religion, culture, and peace.  However, everything changes as Raji's climate takes a turn for the worse.  As the country rapidly disintegrates into desert, its citizens are forced to flee to its northern ally.  The refugees flood into Huldre, setting up camps in every uninhabited plot of land.  It is not long before Huldre's resources are dangerously strained.  Tensions rise as supplies dwindle.  Riots and raids break out across the land.  Finally, to prevent what seemed to be an inevitable--and costly--war, the entire country of Huldre leaves to live across the sea in the distant north.
