Ripples In A WaveA Poem by ZhavyEver get that sinking feeling?I’ve been stuck on the brink But I’m closer to dead As I deepen my depths I only sink in this debt Getting friendly with death I’m in need of the rest Utter mental duress Only due to the stress Know I’m stuck in distress No there’s no more school Cause I bounced the last cheque Count another regret Might need to check me in Where do I begin? Stress engraved within the skin With the patience drawing thin Accounts defining slim Can’t believe I let it slip About had it with the s**t I can end it with a slit & just leave my wrist split A gone with no goodbye It’s getting harder to decide I made my own demise Fabrications from the lies No ambition in my eyes But that’s never no surprise Committing sober suicide Binge on watching my soul die & I’d do it all again It made me hell bent I’ve been hella bent A rage devil sent Good is just scent & evil is a sense The voice’s making sense When I’m on my last cents What’s the sense in innocence? I’ve lost my inhibition Slowly losing all my vision I’m tripping within the visual I’m just a lost individual Further from your typical © 2018 ZhavyAuthor's Note
