Another Year Gone

Another year is ready for a goodbye,
while the other one is waiting for a hello.
Sending heartfelt messages
is what people will do to their fellows.
Promising to spend another year together,
We share our smiles and our sorrows.
And yet, another year is gone
As we look into the mirror.

Another year created memories,
while the other one is eager to create one.
Connecting to soulful melodies,
As we survive in another run.
Discerning fantasies with realities,
Is what the year wanted us to learn.
And yet, another year is gone
And we had alot of fun.
