Eternal Love

Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe

Her golden hair, in death does shine

Like glowing starlight that once was mine

On her flowery bed she lies

As her soul enters the skys

Angles cry for all to hear

They now hold close what once was dear

Death's cold wind chills her bone

As I lie waiting all alone

In my sleep I peacefully go

Taken over by worldly woe

I pray my soul acsend, to the world above

Where I may finally join my eternal love

Yes, this is written from a guy's perspective. And personally I don't think it flows very well. What do you think?
