Poem battle #3

Z-He must've had no life,

   no friends or family,

   and definately had no wife,

   the man who  invented poetry,

 

K-It's a time devouring job,

   to rhyme and measure words,

   to make readers swoon and sob,

   he'd have been his times top nerd,

 

Z-I wonder his incentive,

   likely thought insane ,

   to use words in ways inventive,

   and spice up the mundane,

 

K-but for his long past sacrafice,

   we're gifted one more word device,
