A Sullen Man's Consciousness

A Sullen Man's Consciousness

A Poem by Blake P.

I do intend to see this through,

although it remain so blue,

How did it happen to be,

a world with the appearance of a black sea.

Why do I contemplate such a thing?

A world in which I could reign king,

I’m stuck with such a tragic hue,

A world Black, it’s king blue.

But these bruises not so easily healed,

a world not so easily kneeled,

all it requires is that I impeach,

My mind, I do beseech.
