She's my dreamsA Poem by Abdul Aziz
I see her face; it's full of grace
My heart's afire; it's one desire Is to know her; this pretty larkspur; And then retire to her bonfire. I know it's pure, you know I'm sure. Then why this hate in your astute gait? Just help me get, and not regret, What's not too late; 'Tis my fate. Pushing and turning, this busy morning, I wondered where I'd catch her stare; I looked around and then I found She wasn't there; it wasn't fair. In love's race she set ablaze My mind with dreams and golden schemes. In this realm with me at the helm She's the queen, or so it seems! She's my heme; she's my dreams. © 2010 Abdul AzizReviews
